The die stays on the same site
The tool room has stood on the same site as the forge since 1989. When die and part are handled together, a dimensional difference is spotted on site and the die is corrected there.
Quality
Making the die inside the plant keeps the part and the die under review together.
Interactive section
A cross-section of a forged part: the metal flows in fibres that follow the die shape. Drag to rotate, scroll to zoom; open the section and follow the fibre lines.
The model shows a generic forged part; its dimensions do not belong to a specific product.
How the work is organised
01
The tool room has stood on the same site as the forge since 1989. When die and part are handled together, a dimensional difference is spotted on site and the die is corrected there.
02
The same plant produces hundreds of different parts between 200 grams and 60 kilograms. So wide a range means die and forging parameters are handled part by part.
03
Around 70% of output is shipped to countries including Germany, Sweden, Belgium, Brazil, the United States, Italy, Egypt and Canada. Long distances make part identification and packing order matter.
The section model is a general illustration. The written part of this page carries the three headings that can be stated today; certificates, measurement records and material documents are published in the same layout as they arrive.
